Government Affairs & Litigation · Washington, D.C.
liliana@parzivalgroup.com (202) 978-3137Liliana Coronado has built her career at the intersection of Congress, the courtroom, and the highest levels of federal government affairs. She brings a rare combination of legislative, litigation, and policy expertise — shaped by more than two decades across three distinct arenas of federal practice.
Before joining The Parzival Group, Liliana spent nearly a decade as Vice-President and Counsel at The Brimley Group, one of Washington's leading government affairs firms — advising clients on federal policy strategy, bipartisan coalition-building, and navigating complex regulatory and legislative landscapes.
Her government affairs career is grounded in direct legislative experience: she served as Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee, U.S. House of Representatives, where she managed criminal justice and civil rights policy initiatives, advanced legislation, and developed appropriations strategies.
Prior to her work in government affairs, Liliana spent more than a decade as a federal public defender in Los Angeles — trying federal criminal jury trials, litigating complex pretrial motions, and ultimately serving as Supervising Deputy Federal Public Defender. She began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Warren J. Ferguson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
